HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1974-03-11 NECESSITY BEATRICE AVE ,4244 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR PAVING OF BEATRICE AVENUE FROM FIVE MILE ROAD TO LINDA AVENUE IN SECTION 23 On March 11, 1974, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9 13 P M. Present. Robert F Nash, Jerry Brown, Robert E. McCann, Robert D. Bennett, Robert R. Bishop, Peter A. Ventura, and. Jerry Raymond. Absent. None. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity relative to proposed paving of Beatrice Avenue from Five Mile Road to Linda Avenue in Section 23, City of Livonia. There were approximately fifty people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
