HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1974-04-08 NECESSITY LATHERS AVE 14288 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR STREET PAVING OF LATHERS AVENUE IN THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 12 On April 8, 1974, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8.13 P. M. Present. Robert F Nash, Jerry Brown, Robert E McCann, Robert D. Bennett, Robert R Bishop, Peter A. Ventura, and Jerry Raymond Absent--None The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for street paving improvement of Lathers Avenue between Seven Mile Road and Curtis Avenue located in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 12, City of Livonia. There were approximately forty people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
