HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1974-06-03 NECESSITY ALLEY PAVING 14398 L MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF INSTALLING ALLEY PAVING IN TEE S.E. 1/4 OF SECTION 16 COVENTRY GARDENS On June 3, 1974, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice President of the Council at 8 06 P M. Present Jerry Brown, Robert E. McCann, Robert D. Bennett, Robert R. Bishop, Peter A Ventura and Jerry Raymond Absent Robert F. Nash. The Vice President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and, a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity Lof installing alley paving improvement with a 20-foot wide deep strength asphalt pavement with valley wale where the same abuts Lots 149 through 215, and the S 40' of Lot 372 and. Lot 373, Coventry Gardens Subdivision, in the S E. 1/4 of Section 16, City of Livonia. There were approximately fourteen persons present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
