MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
On March 11, 1974, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the
President at 9.49 P M. Present. Robert F. Nash, Jerry Brown, Robert E
McCann, Robert D. Bennett, Robert R Bishop, Peter A Ventura, and Jerry
Raymond. Absent None.
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior
to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change
and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have
been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set
forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as
amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of
Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the
City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change
in the Zoning Ordinance.
Petition No. 73-10-1-33 submitted by Jerry J. Rozema for Funk Realty
for a change of zoning of property located at the southwest corner of West Chicago
and Houghton in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 31, from C-1 and R-1 to P.S and. P ,
(Local Business District and One Family Residential District to Professional
Service District and Parking District) .
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 10 00 P M. , March 11, 1974
