HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1974-03-11 NECESSITY SCHULGREN SUB 1424, MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF INSTALLING STREET LIGHTS IN SCHULGREN SUBDIVISION AND SCHULGREN SUBDIVISION NO. 2 IN SECTION 32 On March 11, 1974, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 12 P. M Present Robert F. Nash, Jerry Brown, Robert E. McCann, Robert D. Bennett, Robert R. Bishop, Peter A. Ventura, and Jerry Raymond. Absent--None. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for installing ornamental street lighting with underground wiring in Schulgren Subdivision and Schulgren Subdivision No. 2, located in Section 32, City of Livonia. There were approximately eighty people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 00 P. M. , March 11, 1974. ADDISON W. BANthiCit Clerk
