HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1974-01-14 PETITION 1973-07-01-30 14152 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On January 14, 1974, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice President of the Council at 8 12 P. M Present Jerry Brown, Robert E. McCann, Robert D. Bennett, Robert Bishop, Peter A. Ventura, and Jerry Raymond. Absent. Robert F Nash Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The Vice President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.293)4), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition No. 73-7-1-30 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion for a change of zoning of property located on the west side of Farmington Road, south of Eight Mile Road in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 4, from C-2 and RUF to C-1 (General Business and Rural Urban Farm to Local Business) Petition No. 73-7-1-29 submitted by Joseph and Mary Ann Maiorana for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Seven Mile Road, east of Shadyside in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 3 from R-3 to C-1 (One Family Residential to Local Business) .
