RE. PETITION 2015-06-02-08

On Wednesday, August 12, 2015, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council Vice-
President Meakin at 7 02 p m Present. Susan Nash, John Pastor, Laura Toy, and
Brian Meakin Absent Brandon Kritzman, Lynda Scheel, and Maureen Miller Brosnan
Council Vice-President Meakin stated that this was an Appeal of Denial by the
City Planning Commission of Petition 2015-06-02-08, submitted by The Kroger
Company, requesting waiver use approval to utilize an SDD liquor license (sale of
packaged spirits over 21% alcohol) in connection with a retail facility located on the
south side of Five Mile Road, between Merriman Road and Henry Ruff Road (30935
Five Mile Road), in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 23 There were approximately six (6)
individuals present in the audience regarding this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8 32 p m , on Wednesday, August 12,
