HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1976-03-01 NECESSITY BOTSFORD PAK 15478 Imo MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT IN THE BOTSFORD PARK SUBDIVISION IN THE SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 1 On March 1, 1976, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Councilman Nash at 8 00 P M Present Robert F Nash, Jerry Brown, Robert R Bishop, Robert D Bennett Absent--Robert E McCann, Jerry Raymond and Peter A Ventura Councilman Nash stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for the installation of concrete curbs and gutters and a new 1 1/2" asphalt surface course on the front streets (St Francis, Antago, and Rensellor Boulevards) and constructing deep-strength asphalt pavements with concrete curbs and gutters on the side streets (St Martins, Vassar and Bridge Avenues) in the Botsford Park Subdivision in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 1, City of Livonia There were approximately sixty-five people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8 45 P M , March 1, 1976 ADDISON W , City Clerk
