HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1976-03-01 PETITION 1975-07-01-20 15479 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On March 1, 1976, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Councilman Nash at 8:46 P M. Present Robert F Nash, Jerry Brown, Robert R Bishop and Robert D. Bennett. Absent Robert E McCann, Jerry Raymond and Peter A Ventura Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. Councilman Nash stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S A Section 5 293)4) , as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance Petition No 75-7-1-20 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion for a change of zoning of property located north of Six Mile Road, east of Haggerty Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 7, from R-5C to P L (One Family Residential to Public Lands) Petition No 72-7-1-38 (Rehearing) , submitted by Anthony V Pieroni, Attorney for David E Auer for a change of zoning of property located at the southeast corner of Ann Arbor Trail and Wayne Roads in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 33, from RUB and C-1 to R-7 (Rural Urban Farm and Local Business to Multiple Family Residential) . 15480 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS (Continued) Petition No. 75-6-1-16 submitted by Jack Eason, Edwin M Burket and John Migut for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Seven Mile Road, west of Farmington Road in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 4, from RUFA to R-7 (Rural Urban Farm to Multiple Family Residential) Petition No 75-7-1-23 submitted by Jane M Hass and Jessie Blanock, for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Seven Mile Road, east of Gill Road in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 4, from RUT to R-7 (Rural Urban Farm to Multiple Family Residential) Petition No. 75-11-1-30, submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Six Mile Road, west of Middlebelt in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 11, from C-2 to R-1 (General Business District to One Family Residential) Petition No 75-10-6-12 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion to amend Section 15 37, Off-Street Parking Requirements, of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, by adding paragraph (o) so as to provide additional control of offstreet parking requirements. LPetition No 75-10-6-13 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion to amend Article XX of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, by adding Section 20 02A so as to provide regulations for single-family cluster housing.
