HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1975-09-22 PETITION 1975-04-01-10 15197 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On September 22, 1975, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 00 P M Present Robert F Nash, Jerry Brown, Robert D Bennett, Robert R Bishop, Peter A Ventura and Jerry Raymond. Absent Robert E McCann Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A Section 5 2934) , as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance Petition No. 75-4-1-10, submitted by Claude M Howard for a change of zoning of property located at the Southwest corner of Ann Arbor Trail and Newburgh Road in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 31, from RUF and C-1 to C-2 (Rural Urban Farm and Local Business to General Business) . Petition No. 75-4-1-12, submitted by Michael Rector, D V M and Henry Sonagere for a change of zoning of property located on the east side of Levan Road, south of Five Mile Road in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 20, from C-1 to C-2, (Local Business to General Business) Petition No. 75-5-1-13 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion for a change of zoning of property located at the southwest corner of Five Mile Road and Newburgh Road in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 19, from C-1 to P L (Local Business to Public Lands) 15198 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS (Continued) Petition 75-5-1-15 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion for a change of zoning of property located east of Eckles Road and south of Five Mile Road in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 19, from R-1 to P.L. (One Family Residential to Public Lands) Petition No. 75-5-1-14 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion for a change of zoning of property located east of Eckles Road between Lyndon Avenue and the 1-96 Freeway in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 19, from R-1 to P.L (One Family Residential to Public Lands) . Petition No. 75-4-1-11 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion for a change of zoning of property located on the east side of Farmington Road between the C&O Railway and Capitol Avenue in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 27, from M-1 to M-2 (Light Manufacturing to General Manufacturing) The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 10 r M , September 22, 1975.
