MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
On March 29, 1976, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council
at 8.05 P M Present Robert E McCann, Robert F Nash, Jerry H Brown, Jerry
Raymond, Peter A Ventura, Robert R Bishop and Robert D Bennett Absent--None
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 51+3, the Zoning Ordinance, the
City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the
hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all
other requirements of Ordinance No 51+3, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 1+ of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning
Act (M.S A Section 5 2931+), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 51+3, the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a
public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance
Petition No 75-12-1-31 submitted by Brentwood Professional Association for
a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Eight Mile Road, east of
Brentwood, in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 1, from P.0 to P S (Professional Office 1+
stories to Professional Service)
Petition No 75-12-1-32 submitted by Morris and Barbara Huler for a change of
zoning of property located on the west side of Stamford between Clarita and Curtis in the
Northeast 1/1+ of Section 9 from R-3 to R-2 (One family residential 80' lot to One family
residential 70' lot)
Petition No 75-12-1-33 submitted by John D Dinan for a change of zoning of
property located at the northwest corner of Seven Mile and Merriman Roads in the Southeast
1/1+ of Section 3 from R-1 to P S. (One family residential to Professional Service)
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 20 P M , March 29, 1976
