HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1976-11-08 NECESSITY DEERING AVE 15940 MINTJTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPRO Di T OF DEERING AVENUE, NORTH OF JOY ROAD, IN SECTION 36 On November 8, 1976, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8:00 P M Present. Robert E. McCann, Robert F. Nash, Jerry Raymond, Peter A Ventura and Robert D Bennett. Absent. Jerry H Brown and Robert R Bishop The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for installation of a 31-foot wide deep strength asphalt pavement with concrete curbs and gutters (City's Alternate II Improvement) on Deering Avenue, north of Joy Road, in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 36, City of Livonia. There were approximately twenty-five people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
