HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1976-09-27 NECESSITY SCHANHITE'S MARQUETTE 15843 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT IN THE SCHANHITE'S MARQUETTE MANOR SUBDIVISION IN THE S E. 1/4 OF SECTION 25 On September 27, 1976, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 40 P M Present Robert E McCann, Robert F Nash, Jerry H Brown, Jerry Raymond, Robert R Bishop and Robert D Bennett Absent--Peter A Ventura The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for the improvement consisting of a 31 foot wide deep-strength asphalt pavement with concrete curbs and gutters in the Schanhite's Marquette Manor Subdivision in the S E 1/4 of Section 25, City of Livonia There were approximately eighty-five people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 40 P M , September 27, 1976 ADDISON W. ) , City Clerk
