HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1976-09-13 PETTION 1975-11-01-29 15807 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On September 13, 1976, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8:21+ P. M. Present Robert E. McCann, Robert F. Nash, Jerry H. Brown, Jerry Raymond, Peter A Ventura, Robert R. Bishop and Robert D. Bennett. Absent--None. Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 51+3, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 1+ of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5.2931+), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a Public Hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition No. 75-11-1-29, as amended, submitted by the Michigan Home for the Armenian Aged, Inc. for a change of zoning of property located on the west side of Middlebelt Road, south of Wentworth in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 11+, from RUF and. P S to R-9-I (Rural Urban Farm and Professional Service to Housing for the Elderly) Petition No. 76-4-1-13 submitted by Philip and Sharron Truan for a change of zoning of property located on the northwest corner of Green Lane and Five Mile Road, in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 13, from R-1 to P S. (One Family Residential to Professional Service) Petition No. 76-4-1-17 submitted by the City Planning Commission pursuant to Council Resolution #167-76 for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Six Mile Road between Merriman and Middlebelt Roads, in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 14, from C-1 to P (Local Business to Parking) . 15808 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS (Continued) Petition No. 76-4-1-18 submitted by the City Planning Commission pursuant to Council resolution #316-76 for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of St. Martins Avenue immediately east of McNamara Towers I and II, in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 2, from P L to R-9-III (Public Lands to Housing for the Elderly) Petition No 76-5-1-19 submitted by Dembs Roth Management Company for a change of zoning of property located on the east side of Middlebelt Road, south of Morlock in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 1, from RUF to C-1 (Rural Urban Farm to Local Business) The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 28 P M , September 13, 1976.
