HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1976-06-21 PETITION 1973-08-01-31 15685 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On June 21, 1976, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8.20 P M Present Robert E McCann, Robert F Nash, Jerry H Brown, Jerry Raymond, Peter A Ventura, Robert R Bishop and Robert D Bennett Absent None Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S A Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition No. 73-8-1-31 (Rehearing) submitted by Ralph Horowitz and Samuel J Horowitz for a change of zoning of property located at the southeast corner of Wayne Road and Plymouth Road in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 33, from C-1 to C-2 (Local Business to General Business) Petition No 75-10-1-28 submitted by Detroit Federal Savings & Loan Association for a change of zoning of property located at the southeast corner of Orangelawn and Middlebelt Road in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 36, from P L to P.S. , C-1 and P (Public Lands to Professional Service, Local Business and Parking) Petition No. 76-1-1-1 submitted by Ruben Mardiros for a change of zoning of property located north of Schoolcraft Road, west of Berwick Avenue in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 22, from RUF to R-1-B (Rural Urban Farms District to One Family Residential) 15686 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS (Continued) Petition No 76-1-1-2 submitted by Paul J Mehl and Gloria A Shea for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Schoolcraft Road, west of Stark Road in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 21, from R-2 to P S (One Family Residential to Professional Service) Petition No 76-2-1-5 submitted by Koppy-Densmore, Inc for a change of zoning of property located south of Lyndon Avenue between Levan Road and Yale, in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 20, from P L to R-2 (Public Lands to One Family Residential) The Public Hearing was declared closed at 11 05 P M , June 21, 1976 ADDISON W.
