HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1976-08-23 SAD BOTSFORD PARK 15780 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE STREET IMPROVEMENT IN BOTSFORD PARK SUBDIVISION IN SECTION 1 On August 23, 1976, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8:00 P M. Present. Robert E McCann, Jerry H. Brown, Jerry Raymond, Peter A Ventura, Robert R. Bishop and Robert D Bennett. Absent Robert F. Nash The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Assessment Roll for the improvement consisting of installing concrete curbs and gutters and a new 1-1/2" asphalt surface course on front streets (St. Francis, Antago and Rensellor Boulevards) and constructing deep strength asphalt pavements with concrete curbs and gutters on the side streets (St Martins, Vassar and. Bridge Avenues) in the Botsford Park Subdivision in the S E 1/4 of Section 1, City of Livonia, Michigan. There were approximately seventy-five people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
