HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1977-04-04 PETITION 1976-12-01-48 162+5 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On April 4, 1977, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9.10 P M Present Robert E McCann, Robert F Nash, Jerry H Brown, Jerry Raymond, Peter A. Ventura, Robert R Bishop and Robert D Bennett. Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A Section 5 293+), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a L public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance Petition No. 76-12-1-48 submitted by Gerald C May for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Ann Arbor Road west of Newburgh in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 31, from R-1 to C-2 (One Family Residential to General Business) Petition No 76-12-1-50 submitted by Lawrence E Beecher, 0 D and Ned B Grover, 0 D. for a change of zoning of property located on the east side of Farmington Road, north of Schoolcraft in the Southwest i/4+ of Section 22, from RDF to P S. (Rural Urban Farm to Professional Service) Petition No 77-1-6-1 submitted by the City Planning Commission pursuant to Council resolution 868-76, to amend Section 9.03 Waiver Uses of Ordinance No. 5+3, as amended, by adding paragraph (j) Dance, Music and Instrumental Schools, to the P S.
