HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1977-03-21 SAD SCHANHITE'S 162+2 L MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE ROAD IMPROVEMENT IN THE SCHANHITE'S MARQUETTE MANOR SUBDIVISION IN SECTION 25 On March 21, 1977, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 10.30 P M Present Robert E. McCann, Robert F Nash, Jerry Brown, Jerry Raymond, Peter A Ventura, Robert R Bishop and Robert D Bennett. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Assessment Roll for the proposed improvement, consisting of a 31-foot wide deep strength asphalt pavement with Lconcrete curbs and gutters, in the Schanhite's Marquette Manor Subdivision in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 25, City of Livonia, Michigan. There were approximately one hundred people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
