HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1977-02-28 PETITION 1976-10-01-35 16170 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS L On February 28, 1977, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9:17 P M Present: Robert E McCann, Robert F Nash, Jerry H Brown, Jerry Raymond, Peter A. Ventura, Robert R Bishop and. Robert D. Bennett. Absent: None. Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning lim Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition No. 76-10-1-35 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion to rezone property located on the east side of Henry Ruff between Five Mile Road and Jamison in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 23, from RUFA to P.L. (Rural Urban Farm District to Public Lands) Petition No. 76-10-1-38 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion to rezone property located north of Schoolcraft Road between Melvin and Beatrice, in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 23, from R-1-A to P L. (One Family Residential to Public Lands) . Petition No. 76-10-1-41 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion for a change of zoning of property located north of Schoolcraft Road west of Hubbard, in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 22, from RUF to R-1-B (Rural Urban Farm to One Family Residential) L 16171 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS (Continued) Petition No. 76-11-1-42 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Five Mile Road between Arden and Melrose, in the Northeast 1/4+ of Section 22, from P S to R-1 (Professional Service to One Family Residential) Petition No. 76-11-6-11 submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant to Council Resolution No. 809-76, to amend Section 11 03 (a) and 11 03 (b) of Ordinance No. 54+3, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, so as to require that all gas stations shall provide at least one full service gasoline pump island for senior citizens, the sick or handicapped and such other persons in the community as may be in need of this service The Public Hearing was declared closed at 11 15 P M , February 28, 1977.
