MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE
L ROAD IMPROVEMENT ON DEERING A N , NORTH OF JOY
ROAD, IN THE S. E. 1/4 OF SECTION 36
On February 28, 1977, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President
of the Council at 8.15 P M. Present Robert E McCann, Robert F Nash, Jerry H.
Brown, Jerry Raymond, Peter A. Ventura, Robert R Bishop, and Robert D. Bennett
Absent: None.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements,
Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment
Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Assessment Roll for
Lthe installation of a 31-foot wide deep strength pavement with concrete curbs and
gutters (City's Alternate II Improvement) on Deering Avenue, north of Joy Road, in
the S. E. 1/4 of Section 36, City of Livonia, Michigan.
There were approximately sixty-five people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8:35 P. M., February 28, 1977.
