HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1977-06-13 PETITION 1977-01-01-01 16406 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On June 13, 1977, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8.05 P M Present Robert E McCann and Jerry Brown Absent. Robert F Nash, Jerry Raymond, Peter A Ventura, Robert R Bishop and Robert D Bennett Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S A. Section 5 2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition No. 77-1-1-1, submitted by Donnell P O'Callaghan, Attorney for Durr Land Company, for a change of zoning of property located on the east side of Newburgh Road, between Amrhein and Plymouth Roads, in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 29, from RUF to M-1 (Rural Urban Farm to Light Manufacturing) Petition No 77-2-6-2, submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion to amend paragraph (c) of Section 16.11, Waiver Uses, of Ordinance #543, as amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, so as to require a minimum of 4 acres rather than 5 acres of land area for retail sales of new furniture as accessory uses to ware- house structures in the M-1 Zoning District. 16+07 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS (Cont ) Petition No 77-3-6-4 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion to amend Ordinance #5+3, as amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, Section 2 06, Definitions Pertaining to Lots and Areas, in order to revise the definition of "Lot" Petition No. 76-4-1-17 (rehearing) submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant to City Council Resolution No 113-77, for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Six Mile Road between Merriman and Middlebelt Roads in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 14 from C-1 to RUF (Local Business to Rural Urban Farm).
