MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS
On January 30, 1978, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001
Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the
Council at 8:47 P M Present Robert E McCann, Robert F Nash, Jerry Raymond,
and Robert D Bennett Absent Jerry Brown, Robert R Bishop and Peter A Ventura
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the
hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all
other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning
Act (M S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a
public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance
Petition No 77-8-1-27, submitted by Livonia Builders, Inc for a change
of zoning on property located on the east side of Santa Anita, south of Five Mile Road
in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 24, from RUF to R-2 (Rural Urban Farm District to One
Family Residential District)
Petition No 76-10-1-40 (rehearing), submitted by R Ajluni, M D for a
change of zoning on property located on the south side of Curtis Road, east of
Farmington Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 10, from RUFC to P (Rural Urban
Farm District to Parking District)
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 20 P M , January 30, 1978
