HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1978-01-16 NECESSITY FLORAL AVE 16789 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF FLORAL AVENUE, NORTH OF JOY ROAD On January 16, 1978, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9 12 P M Present Robert E McCann, Jerry H Brown, Jerry Raymond, Robert D Bennett and Robert R Bishop. Absent Robert F Nash and Peter A Ventura. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for the improvement of Floral Avenue, north of Joy Road, in the City of Livonia There were approximately forty people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 25 P M. , January 16, 1978 ADDISON W.
