HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1979-8-08-14 NECESSITY SURREY AVE 17254 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF SURREY AVENUE AND GRAYTONA AVENUE SOUTH OF SCHOOLCRAFT On August 14, 1978, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 32 P. M. Present Robert E. McCann, Robert D. Bennett, Robert R. Bishop, Peter A. Ventura and Jerry Raymond. Absent--Robert F. Nash. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for street improvement consisting of industrial type pavement of Surrey Avenue and Graytona Avenue, respectively, south of Schoolcraft, City of Livonia. There were approximately twenty people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
