HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1978-07-24 PETITION 1978-03-01-15 17212 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS 10, On July 24, 1978, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order at 8:05 P M Present: Robert F. Nash, Jerry H. Brown, Jerry Raymond, Peter A Ventura and Robert R Bishop. Absent--Robert E McCann and Robert D Bennett Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning L, Act (M S.A. Section 5 2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition No 78-3-1-15 submitted by Dr Alan R Ettinger for a change of zoning of property located on the southwest corner of Seven Mile Road and. Sunset in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 11, from R-1 to P S (One Family Residential to Professional Service) . Petition No 78-3-1-19 submitted by Neboll and Shirley Appicelli for a change of zoning of property located on the northwest corner of Puritan Avenue and Middlebelt Road in the northeast 1/4 of Section 14, from RUB to P S , as amended, (Rural Urban Farm to Professional Service) Petition No. 78-4-1-22 submitted by Clarence R Charest for a change of zoning of property located on the northeast corner of the 1-96 Service Drive and Stamford Avenue in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 21, from R-2 to P S (One Family Residential to Professional Service) L 17213 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS (Continued) Petition No 78-2-6-3 submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own motion to amend Section 11 03, Waiver Uses within the C-2 Zoning District, by amending the present standards and adding new Standards for gasoline service stations; restaurants; new and used car lots and showrooms, new or used mobile home sales, open-air sales, display and/or rental of utility trailers and buildings of 30,000 square feet or more. Petition No 78-4-6-6 submitted by the City Planning Commission pursuant to Council Resolution No. 256-78, to amend Section 21 05 of Ordinance No. 543, with regard to compensation paid the members of the Zoning Board of Appeals The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8 35 P.
