HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1978-05-15 NECESSITY HATHAWAY 17076 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF HATHAWAY AVENUE BETWEEN FARMINGTON AND STARK ROADS IN THE SOUTHEAST 1/4 of SECTION 33 On May 15, 1978, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 46 P M Present Robert E McCann, Jerry H. Brown, Robert F. Nash, Jerry Raymond and Peter A. Ventura. Absent Robert D Bennett and Robert R Bishop. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for the improvement of Hathaway Avenue between Farmington and Stark Roads in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 33, City of Livonia. There were approximately twenty people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
