HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1978-05-15 NECESSITY DEERING AVE 17075 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF DEERING AVENUE BETWEEN PEMBROKE AND VASSAR IN THE SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 1 On May 15, 1978, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 08 P. M. Present Robert E. McCann, Jerry H. Brown, Robert F. Nash, Jerry Raymond and Peter A. Ventura. Absent Robert D. Bennett and Robert R. Bishop. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for the improvement of Deering Avenue between Pembroke and Vassar in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 1, City of Livonia. There were approximately thirty people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
