HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1978-04-17 PETITION 1977-09-01-31 17007 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On April 17, 1978, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 50 P. M Present Robert E McCann, Robert D Bennett, Jerry Brown, Robert F Nash and Jerry Raymond Absent--Robert R Bishop and Peter A Ventura Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5 2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance Petition No 77-9-1-31 submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant to Council Resolution #803-77, for a change of zoning on property located south of Seven Mile Road, west of Merriman Road, in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 10, from P L to R-5 (Public Lands to Residential) Petition No 77-10-1-38 submitted by Leo Soave for a change of zoning on property located on the west side of Newburgh Road, north of Seven Mile Road, in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 6 from RUFC to C-2 (Rural Urban Farms to General Business).
