HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1978-04-17 NECESSITY JAMISON AVE 17006 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF JAMISON AVENUE BETWEEN MIDDLEBELT AND GARDEN IN THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 25 On April 17, 1978, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8:05 P. M Present. Robert E McCann, Robert D Bennett, Jerry Brown, Robert F. Nash and Jerry Raymond. Absent--Robert R. Bishop and Peter A. Ventura. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for the improvement of Jamison Avenue between Middlebelt and Garden in the northwest 1/4 of Section 25, City of Livonia. There were approximately 100 people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8 45 P M , April 17, 1978.
