HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1978-02-27 PETITION 1977-08-01-30 16890 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On February 27, 1978, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice President of the Council at 10 00 P. M. Present. Robert D Bennett, Robert R Bishop, Peter A Ventura, Robert F. Nash, Jerry Brown and Jerry Raymond. Absent Robert E McCann. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition 77-8-1-30 submitted by the Amoco Oil Company for a change of zoning of property located on the southwest corner of Farmington and Schoolcraft Roads in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 28, from M-1 to C-2 (Light Manufacturing District to General Business District) Petition No. 76-8-6-7, submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant to Council Resolution 177-77, to amend Section 10 02(b) Permitted Uses, and Section 10 03, Waiver Uses, of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance, to provide standards for determining use of bakeries, ice cream stores, etc as permitted uses or waiver uses in C-1 Zoning Districts (Local Business Districts) The Public Hearing was declared closed at 10.40 P M , February 27, 1978 ADDISON W.
