HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1978-03-20 NECESSITY ALGONQUIN PARK 16960 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTING IN ALGONQUIN PARK SUBDIVISION IN SECTION 23 On March 20, 1978, the above hearing was held at City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 7 40 P M Present Robert E McCann, Peter A Ventura, Robert D Bennett, Robert R Bishop and Jerry Raymond Absent Jerry H Brown and Robert F Nash The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for the installation of street lighting in Algonquin Park Subdivision in the N E 1/4 of Section 23, City of Livonia There were approximately 80 people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 55 P M , March 20, 1978 ADDISON W BAC ity C erk
