HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1978-03-20 NECESSITY VERONICA DR 16961 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTING ON VERONICA DRIVE IN SECTION 29 On March 20, 1978, the above hearing was held at City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 7 56 P. M. Present Robert E McCann, Peter A Ventura, Robert D Bennett, Robert R Bishop and Jerry Raymond Absent Jerry H Brown and Robert F Nash. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity for the installation of street lighting with underground wiring on Veronica Drive, located in Section 29, City of Livonia. There was one gentleman wishing to speak Questions and comments from the interested person were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
