MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
PROPOSED FORMATION OF WOMEN'S COMMISSION
On February 19, 1979, the above hearing was held at City Hall, 33001
Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice-President
of the Council at 8 45 P M. Present Robert D. Bennett, Robert F Nash, Gerald
D. Taylor and Robert R. Bishop Absent Robert E. McCann, Jerry Raymond and
Peter A. Ventura.
The Vice-President stated that the City Council is opening a public
hearing on the proposed formation of a Women's Commission in the City of Livonia
There were approximately one hundred and fifty people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera-
tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 11 00 P. M. , February 19, 1979
