HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1979-09-24 SAD VERONICA DRIVE 18091 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THREE 250 WATT HIGH PRESSURE SODIUM LIGHTS ON VERONICA DRIVE IN SECTION 29 On September 24, 1979, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 26 P M. Present Robert E. McCann, Robert F. Nash, Gerald Taylor, Jerry Raymond, Robert D. Bennett, Robert R. Bishop and Peter A. Ventura. Absent None. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure, " the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Assess- ment Roll for the installation of three 250 Watt High Pressure Sodium Lights with underground wiring on Veronica Drive approximately 1400 feet east of Levan Road in the N.E. 1/4 of Section 29, City of Livonia, Michigan. There were approximately fifty people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera- tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
