HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1979-06-18 SAD CARDWELL 17867 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE ROAD IMPROVEMENT OF CARDWELL AVENUE BETWEEN JOY ROAD AND WEST CHICAGO IN SECTION 36 On June 18, 1979, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 23 P M. Present Robert E McCann, Gerald D. Taylor, Jerry Raymond, Robert D. Bennett, Robert R. Bishop and Peter A. Ventura Absent Robert F. Nash The President stated thatpursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defrayingthe Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure, " the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Assessment Roll for the improvement consisting of placing four (4) inches of asphalt on existing roadway to a width of 21 feet on Cardwell Avenue between Joy Road and West Chicago in the S E. 1/4 of Section 36, City of Livonia, Michigan. There were approximately fifty people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera- tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8.38 P M , June 18, 1979 ADDISON W , Cr Clerk
