HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1979-06-18 SAD ELMIRA 17868 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE ROAD IMPROVEMENT ON ELMIRA (DEERING TO INKSTER) AND ORANGELAWN 110. (CLEMENTS CIRCLE TO INKSTER) IN SECTION 36 On June 18, 1979, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8 39 P. M. Present Robert E McCann, Gerald D. Taylor, Jerry Raymond, Robert D. Bennett, Robert R. Bishop and Peter A. Ventura Absent. Robert F. Nash. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure, " the City Council is opening a public hearing on the Assessment Roll for the improvement consisting of 3" to 4" of asphalt placed him on the existing gravel roadway (Alternate IV) on Elmira (Deering to Inkster) and Orangelawn (Clements Circle to Inkster), in the N.E. 1/4 of Section 36, City of Livonia, Michigan. There were approximately twenty people present Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera- tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
