HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1979-04-23 NECESSITY VERONICA DRIVE 17716 MINUTES OF PUBLIC REARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SODIUM LIGHTS ON VERONICA DRIVE IN SECTION 29 On April 23, 1979, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 8.02 P. M. Present Robert E. McCann, Robert F. Nash, Gerald D. Taylor, Jerry Raymond, Robert D Bennett, Robert R Bishop and Peter A. Ventura. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure, " the City Council is opening a public hearing on the necessity of installing three 250 Watt High Pressure Sodium Lights with underground wiring on Veronica Drive approximately 1400 feet East of Levan Road in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 29, T. 1 S , R. 9 E , City of Livonia. There were approximately twenty people present. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
