HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1979-04-23 PETITION 1979-01-01-01 17719 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITIONS On April 23, 1979, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9.06 P. M. Present Robert E McCann, Robert F. Nash, Gerald D. Taylor, Jerry Raymond, Robert D. Bennett, Robert R. Bishop and Peter A. Ventura. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition No. 79-1-1-1 submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change of zoning of property located on the Northeast corner of Melvin Avenue and Pembroke in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 2, from RUFA to P.L. (Rural Urban Farms to Public Lands). Petition No. 79-1-1-2 submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change of zoning of property located on the Southeast corner of Wayne Road and Six Mile Road in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 16, from R-3-B to P.L. (One Family Residential to Public Lands ). Petition No. 79-1-1-3 submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change of zoning of property located on the Southeast corner of West Chicago and Sunset Avenue in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 35, from R-1 to P.L. (One Family Residential to Public Lands ). Petition No. 79-1-1-4 submitted by the City Planning Commission for a change of zoning of property located north of Joy Road, east of Gilman Avenue in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 36, from RUF to P.L. (Rural Urban Farms to Public Lands). 17720 Petition No. 79-2-1-6 submitted by the Greenfield Construction Company for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Six Mile Road west of Newburgh Road in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 18, from P.S. to C-2 (Professional Service to General Business, ) The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9.25 P.
