HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2003-09-03 IFEC APPLIED PROCESS 34247 PUBLIC HEARING RE APPLICATION FOR INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE, SUBMITTED BY APPLIED PROCESS, INC FOR THE FACILITY LOCATED AT 36200 PLYMOUTH ROAD [344-03] On Wednesday, September 3, 2003, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council President Engebretson at 7 00 p m Present: Don Knapp, Val Vandersloot, Gerald Taylor, Joe Laura and Jack Engebretson Absent: Linda Dolan, Joe Laura and Maureen Miller Brosnan Council President Engebretson stated that this was a public hearing on the question whether to approve the Application for Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate submitted by Applied Process, Inc , for the addition of two (2) quench tanks, two (2) draw furnaces, a wash tank and a salt holding tank in connection with their metal heat treating operations, as well as modifications to their building located at 12238 Newburgh Road to accommodate this equipment, within City of Livonia Industrial Development District No 35 There were five (5) individuals present in the audience regarding this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
