RE. PETITION 2009-11-02-17

On Wednesday, January 20, 2010, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council
President McCann at 7 17 p m Present: Brian Meakin, Terry Godfroid-Marecki, Joe
Laura, Laura Toy, Maureen Brosnan and James McCann Absent: John Pastor
Council President McCann stated that this was an Appeal of Denial of Application
of Petition 2009-11-02-17, submitted by The Kroger Company, requesting waiver use
approval to utilize as SDD license (sale of packaged spirits over 21% alcohol) in
connection with a retail facility located on the south side of Five Mile Road between
Merriman Road and Henry Ruff Road (30935 Five Mile Road), in the northwest 1/4 of
section 23 There were approximately seven (7) individuals present in the audience
regarding this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 52 p m , on Wednesday, January
20, 2010
