PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE 543, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: Petition 2008-09-01-08 submitted by Ned Hakim requesting to rezone property located on the west side of Victor Parkway, between Seven Mile Road and Pembroke Drive (19333 Victor Parkway), in the Southeast ¼ of Section 6 from C-2 to C-4 (General Business to High Rise Commercial). PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 240 of Title 10, Chapter 21 (Impound Vehicle-Redemption Conditions and Costs), regarding ordinance language changes to the vehicle redemption conditions and costs and fees (i.e., towing fees, storage fees, etc.). ROLL CALL: Proposed amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 543, as amended, Department of Law, re: Petition 2008-10-01-09 submitted by Soave Building Inc. for a change of zoning of property located at the northerly terminus of the section of Taylor Boulevard, extending north from Oakley Avenue and lying west of Cavell Avenue (14745 and 14766 Taylor Boulevard), in the Northeast ¼ of Section 24, from RUF to R-2 (Rural Urban Farm – ½ Acre Lots to One Family Residential – 70’ x 120’ Lots). REQUEST TO LEASE THREE AND A HALF TO FOUR (3.5 - 4) ACRES OF THE CITY’S GLENDALE PROPERTY: Public Service Division, re: by Environmental Wood Solutions, Inc. to grind specific biomass for disposal and transfer woodchip material to an out-source location for a period of twenty-four (24) months. 22. REQUEST TO APPROVE ENGINEERING CONSULTANT: Engineering Division, re: to perform improvements to reconstruct Westbound Schoolcraft Road (Scone to Bridge over I-96), 0.30 miles in length, which will receive 80% federal funding and 20% from City funds. NEW BUSINESS 23. DETERMINATION OF THE LOCAL OFFICERS COMPENSATION COMMISSION: Office of the City Clerk, re: the salaries of elected officials for the calendar years of 2010 and 2011, in accordance with Section 2.48.030 of Chapter 2.48 of the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended. 24. REQUEST TO ADOPT RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE CREATION OF A RENAISSANCE ZONE IN THE CITY TO HOUSE AN ALTERNATIVE ENERGY PRODUCTION FACILITY: Office of the Mayor, re: which will be forwarded to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to satisfy a local commitment requirement.
