AWARD OF BID: Public Service Division, re: for one (1) 12” Drum-Style Chipper from funds budgeted in the 2010-2011 Refuse Fund. 2. AWARD OF BID: Public Service Division, re: for two (2) Trailer-Mounted Leaf Collectors from funds budgeted in the 2010-2011 Refuse Fund. 3. REQUEST TO APPROVE ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE: Engineering Division, re: for construction engineering costs in connection with the Lyndon Avenue Reconstruction Project - Middlebelt to Henry Ruff, until Federal funding becomes available for reimbursement. REQUEST TO ACCEPT QUOTATION FOR LIFE INSURANCE AND ACCIDENTAL DEATH AND DISMEMBERMENT INSURANCE: Department of Finance, re: from Hartford Insurance Company for the period of December 1, 2010 to November 30, 2013, which reflects a decrease of approximately 26 percent from the current rate. UNFINISHED BUSINESS MEETINGS OF THE COMMITTEES 5. PUBLIC SAFETY, EDUCATION AND RECREATION COMMITTEE – Meeting of November 8, 2010 The subject of proposed changes to the Parks and Recreation field rental procedures by eliminating Daily and Seasonal Permits and utilizing an Hourly Permit, effective December 1, 2010. (CR 317-10) Agenda for the Regular Meeting of November 17, 2010 2 UNFINISHED BUSINESS 6. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO SELL CITY-OWNED PROPERTY PURCHASED FROM FANNIE MAE FORECLOSED PROPERTIES: Livonia Housing Commission, re: located at 20108 Antago for a total sale price of $57,500.00. (CR 139-10) 7. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO A COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM AGREEMENT WITH MOTOROLA, INC.; REQUEST TO PURCHASE INFRASTRUCTURE EQUIPMENT FROM SOLE SOURCE SUPPLIER; AND REQUEST TO APPROVE FREQUENCY RECONFIGURATION AGREEMENT (FRA) WITH NEXTEL WEST CORPORATION: Division of Police, re: to comply with the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) order for the reconfiguration of the 800 MHz radio band and to allow the City to migrate into the statewide interoperable Michigan Public Safety Communications System (MPSCS). 8. ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSE TO COUNCIL RESOLUTION 346-10: Engineering Division, re: construction of a new sidewalk along Newburgh Road between Seven Mile and Eight Mile Roads. 9. REQUEST TO RENEW LIABILITY AND PROPERTY INSURANCE COVERAGE: Department of Finance, re: with the Michigan Municipal Risk Management Authority (MMRMA) for the period of December 1, 2010 through November 30, 2012. NEW BUSINESS 10. REQUEST TO AMEND COUNCIL RESOLUTION 264-10: Robert A. Sakuta, President, Delta Gear, Inc. re: in connection with the application for Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate for Delta Development, LLC, to be replaced by Delta Gear, Inc., which is the operating company for that facility. 11. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured without monetary consideration from Dawn Seikel for an easement in connection with the development of a new storm sewer constructed at 31660 Five Mile Road in the East ½ of Section 15. 12. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured without monetary consideration from 3M Company (f/k/a Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company) for an easement in connection with the development of a new water main constructed across 19460 Victor Parkway in the East ½ of Section 6.
