REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY’S NOISE ORDINANCE: Peter Wu, Senior Pastor, Chinese Gospel Church, re: to allow a band to play music in connection th with an outdoor event to celebrate the 4 of July on Sunday, June 27, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at their church located at 35301 Five Mile Road. 4. REQUEST FOR NON-PROFIT DESIGNATION: Rebecca Kritzman, Co- President, Livonia Nursery, Inc., re: as required by the State of Michigan to obtain a Charitable Gaming License to allow them to conduct a Millionaire Party to raise funds for their organization. 5. REAPPOINTMENT OF SAM CARAMAGNO TO THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS: John R. Pastor, Councilmember, re: for a three-year term, which shall expire on July 12, 2013. 6. REAPPOINTMENT OF CRAIG S. REQUEST TO APPROVE AN ADDENDUM TO THE LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE LIVONIA HOCKEY ASSOCIATION TO REFLECT A $3.00 PER HOUR UTILITY CHARGE TO ALL USER GROUPS EXCEPT THE LIVONIA PARKS AND RECREATION PROGRAMS: Department of Parks & Recreation, re: to help offset utility expenses. (CR 391-08, CR 144- 06) 8. PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE INTERLOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT: Livonia Fire & Rescue, re: to improve fire services during emergencies. (CR 370-07 and CR 620-02) 9. AWARD OF CONTRACT: Department of Management Information Systems, re: for software maintenance of the City’s Geographic Information System (GIS) from budgeted funds. 10. WAIVER PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2010-04-02-08 submitted by The Kroger Company of Michigan requesting approval for outdoor storage and display of merchandise in front of the Kroger Store on property located on the south side of Eight Mile Road, between Farmington Road and Gill Road (33523 Eight Mile Road), in the Northeast ¼ of Section 4. 11. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 543, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to amend subsection (b) and (d) of Section 18.42A (Wireless Communication Facilities) of Article XVIII to better insure that operators and colocators do not have radio frequency (RF) energy emissions or other detrimental field output. UNFINISHED BUSINESS MEETINGS OF THE COMMITTEES 12. INFRASTRUCTURE AND COMMUNITY TRANSIT COMMITTEE – Meeting of June 14, 2010 Subject of the Water and Sewer Consumption Rates, Industrial Surcharge Rate and Industrial Waste Control Charge for report and recommendation. (CR 199- 10) UNFINISHED BUSINESS 13. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 040 of Title 13, Chapter 08 (Water Service Rates and Revenues) to provide for changes in the water service consumption rates to become effective with the first billing on and after July 1, 2010. (CR 198-10) Agenda for the Regular Meeting of June 21, 2010 3 UNFINISHED BUSINESS 14. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 120 of Title 13, Chapter 20 (Livonia Sewage Disposal System) to provide for changes in the wastewater disposal charge and industrial waste control meter charges to become effective with the first billing on and after July 1, 2010. (CR 198-10) 15. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS AMENDED: Department of Law, re: to Section 050 of Title 13, Chapter 28 (Industrial Waste Surcharge) to provide for changes in the industrial surcharge rate to become effective with the first billing on and after July 1, 2010. (CR 198- 10) 16. ROLL CALL: Proposed amendment to the Livonia Code of Ordinances, as amended, Department of Law, re: to Chapter 03 (General Licensing Procedure) of Title 5, Section 080(A)(1), to add the provision that withholding pertinent information requested by the City as part of the license application investigation shall be grounds for denial or revocation of license. First Reading given by Councilmember John Pastor on June 9, 2010. 17. BLOCK PARTY: Dawn Nowicki, re: to be held Saturday, September 11, 2010, from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Orangelawn, between Dalhay and Sunset, with no rain date requested. 18. AWARD OF CONTRACT: Division of Police, re: for the transport and lodging of prisoners. (CR 486-05) NEW BUSINESS 19. REQUEST TO AMEND COUNCIL RESOLUTION 177-10: Doug Kieselbach and Rosemary Doletzky, re: in connection with a block party date change to be held Saturday, July 10, 2010, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Minton, between Merriman and Sunset, with no rain date requested, which previously received approval by the City Council on May 26, 2010. 20. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured without monetary consideration from Mission Health Corporation, for an easement in connection with the development of a water main located at 37487 Seven Mile Road in the Northeast ¼ of Section 7. 21. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured without monetary consideration from Glenn and Linda Kittleson, for an easement in connection with the development of a new storm sewer located at 17252 Cross Winds Road in the Southwest ¼ of Section 11.
