REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE INTEGRATED FIREFIGHTER TRACKING SYSTEM UTILIZING ADDITIONAL DHS ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTER GRANT (AFG) FOR 2011: Livonia Fire & Rescue, re: that will incorporate a transmitter in the breathing apparatus previously purchased through this grant with the City’s share being 20% ($6,070.80). 6. AWARD OF CONTRACT: Department of Parks & Recreation, re: for ad solicitation to help offset the cost of the “L” Magazine, mailed three (3) time per year for a period of two (2) years. 10. AWARD OF BID: Public Service Division, re: to purchase three (3) Single Axle Dump Trucks as replacement vehicles from funds budgeted for this purpose. 11. AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR A TWO (2) YEAR CONTINUATION OF THE LEASE OF FIVE ACRES OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 32700 GLENDALE AVENUE: Public Service Division, re: to Mid-Michigan Recycling, L.C. for wood processing and disposal service, with an option to renew for an additional two (2) years. ROLL CALL: Proposed amendment to the City of Livonia Zoning Ordinance #543, as amended: Department of Law, re: Petition 2012-03-06-06 submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant to Council Resolution 478-12, to amend Section 9.02 of Article IX, OS (Office Services) District Regulations, in order to modify the types of permitted and waiver uses including, but not limited to, real estate and insurance offices, offices of fraternal or religious organizations, and offices of clubs and lodges. ROLL CALL: Proposed amendment to the City of Livonia Zoning Ordinance #543, as amended: Department of Law, re: Petition 2012-03-06-06 submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant to Council Resolution 478-12, to amend Section 9.03 of Article IX, OS (Office Services) District Regulations, in order to modify the types of permitted and waiver uses including, but not limited to, real estate and insurance offices, offices of fraternal or religious organizations, and offices of clubs and lodges. First Reading given by Councilmember McCann on December 19, 2012. 14. ROLL CALL: Proposed amendment to the City of Livonia Zoning Ordinance #543, as amended: Department of Law, re: Petition 2012-03-06-07 submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant Council Resolution 479-12, to amend Section 10.02 of Article X, C-1 (Local Business) District Regulations, in order to clarify and make certain changes to the types of permitted and waiver uses including, but not limited to, various retail stores, personal service establishments, office businesses, veterinary clinics, SDD licensed establishments, and restaurants. First Reading given by Councilmember Brosnan on December 19, 2012. 15. ROLL CALL: Proposed amendment to the City of Livonia Zoning Ordinance #543, as amended: Department of Law, re: Petition 2012-03-06-07 submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant Council Resolution 479-12, to amend Section 10.03 of Article X, C-1 (Local Business) District Regulations, in order to clarify and make certain changes to the types of permitted and waiver uses including, but not limited to, various retail stores, personal service establishments, office businesses, veterinary clinics, SDD licensed establishments, and restaurants. ROLL CALL: Proposed amendment to the City of Livonia Zoning Ordinance #543, as amended: Department of Law, re: Petition 2012-03-06-08 submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant to Council Resolution 480-12, to amend Section 11.02 of Article XI, C-2 (General Business) District Regulations, in order to make changes to certain types of permitted and waiver uses including, but not limited to, various retail sales and retail service establishments, wholesale business uses, gasoline service stations, animal care facilities, restaurants, auto- wash establishments, establishments serving alcohol, dance halls, pawn shops, and open-air businesses. ROLL CALL: Proposed amendment to the City of Livonia Zoning Ordinance #543, as amended: Department of Law, re: Petition 2012-03-06-08 submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant to Council Resolution 480-12, to amend Section 11.03 of Article XI, C-2 (General Business) District Regulations, in order to make changes to certain types of permitted and waiver uses including, but not limited to, various retail sales and retail service establishments, wholesale business uses, gasoline service stations, animal care facilities, restaurants, auto- wash establishments, establishments serving alcohol, dance halls, pawn shops, and open-air businesses. First Reading given by Councilmember McCann on December 19, 2012. 18. ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSE TO COUNCIL RESOLUTION #470-12: Engineering Division, re: a request for a sidewalk extension on the south side of Ann Arbor Trail from Dowling Street to Rosedale Elementary School, submitted by Bryan Garchar. NEW BUSINESS 19. ACCEPTANCE OF DONATIONS: Department of Parks & Recreation, re: of cash and gifts from various contributors to be used as designated by the donors. 20. REQUEST TO SCHEDULE A CLOSED COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING: Department of Law, re: for the purpose of discussing the subject pending litigation and attorney/client privileged communications with respect to Northridge/Laurel LLC v City of Livonia. 21. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured without monetary consideration from RDG-Livonia, L.L.C, for an easement in connection with the development of a water main constructed at the Victor Park Place Condominium, Unit 1, on Victor Parkway, between Seven Mile Road and Eight Mile Road, for the property located in the Southeast ¼ of Section 6. 22. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured without monetary consideration from Kohl’s Michigan, L.P., for a 20’ wide public utility easement in connection with the development of a water main constructed at the Kohl’s at Livonia Marketplace, for the property located in the Southeast ¼ of Section 2. 23. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured without monetary consideration from Kohl’s Michigan, L.P., for a 40’ wide public utility easement in connection with the re-located Livonia Drain No. 16 at the Kohl’s at Livonia Marketplace, for the property located in the Southeast ¼ of Section 2.
